The restaurant offers excellent food and a wonderful pampering experience. The wine list has a great selection!”

“The Pollinger is a beautiful, well-maintained hotel with a fantastic indoor and outdoor pool. The staff were always friendly and made our stay wonderful. The rooms were spacious and had a balcony. The food (breakfast and dinner) was excellent and the portion sizes were just right. The hotel is slightly outside Merano, but the city centre is reachable on foot in about 15-20 minutes. We had a great stay and will definitely return.”

“We were welcomed at the reception in an extremely friendly manner. The rooms are beautifully renovated and have a lovely balcony with a great view. The magnificent large garden with a beautiful pool invites you to linger. On the adjacent terrace you can relax and enjoy a drink. Breakfast was plentiful and nothing was lacking. We will definitely be back.”

“We absolutely loved our stay at Hotel Pollinger! The staff at reception were so kind and helpful, recommending some fantastic hiking options including walks from Lana and Saltaus. After a long walk in the heat, a dip in the pool was a welcome treat. Our room overlooked the pool with great views and a balcony that caught the evening sun. The breakfast selection was incredible – with a fresh orange juice machine and wonderful cappuccinos! We dined in the hotel five out of six nights and the food was simply outstanding! As a vegetarian, I often struggle in Italy, but not at Hotel Pollinger. Every evening features a 5-course menu ending with a wonderful selection of desserts and cheese. A huge thank you to the entire team!”

“We stayed here for 6 nights and had a lovely room on the third floor with a great balcony and a fantastic view. It is a relaxed, family-run hotel that looks after you with a sense of personal care. You can have breakfast, lunch and dinner on the terrace and enjoy drinks at the bar or in the lounge area – nothing is too much trouble. The pool area is very beautiful and we spent time sunbathing, swimming or simply relaxing in the gardens. It is a 10-minute walk to Merano or you can use the hotel's bicycles. Highly recommended!”
